pstlyfdiva's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- jello molds we just had my company christmas luncheon...food was delicious, as always. but i have noticed a strange phenomenon...no one eats anything my boss' secretary makes. last time no one touched her jello mold (personally i wouldn't ever touch a jello mold, but there was another one there and people ate on that one, different colors...). this time she made a lemon coconut chess pie...looked a little too brown in places with a store bought frozen crust...again, no one ate it. i noticed this, so i went and took the largest slice i could find...of course, i am not a fan of lemon custardy things (i prefer my fruit to still look like fruit) -- so i didn't eat it, but i made it look like i did and threw it out. at least she won't think no one ate any...can you imagine the feeling of no one eating what you brought at all? we also did a secret santa...my person spent entirely too much on me. we were to list ideas -- i listed a couple of cds or a gift card...they bought me BOTH cds...i feel bad, but it was their choice, so i shouldn't. i gave my person a nutcracker, it was on her wish list, she seemed to like the one i picked out. i am off to alabama tomorrow to my grandparents' house -- will rendez vous with my parents and sister there...so, if i don't talk to you...merry christmas!! 1:15 p.m. - 2005-12-21 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
