pstlyfdiva's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. Blackwell It is that time of year again – Blackwell has issued his worst dress list for 2005 and my take on them: 1) Britney Spears – definitely deserving of ranking #1, she has gobs of money, yet can’t seem to find clothes that fit…or are tasteful 2) Mary-Kate Olsen – classic “poor little rich girl” – somehow this Olsen twin didn’t seem to be as well adjusted as Ashley…eating disorders, boyfriend drama, etc – I think it is reflected in her clothes. 3) Jessica Simpson – if you base it on anything she wore in relation to Dukes of Hazard, I totally agree, but from time to time she can look classy…granted those times are few and far between 4) Eva Longoria – “look at me, I’m a star now!” I love “Desperate Housewives”, but fame seems to have stolen EL’s good fashion sense 5) Mariah Carey – could things get any tighter or low-cut?! And this year was supposed to be her “transformation” – away from all that…HA! 6) Paris Hilton – while this year’s fashions haven’t been as bad as in her younger days…she is always a fashion disaster 7) Anna Nicole Smith – I think she is probably just glad that people give 2 cents about her…bad fashion or no 8) Shakira – I think she is too hot to be on this list! She does “grunge” things up a bit, but I think it works on her…in a “I’m a little dirty fairy” kind of way 9) Lindsay Lohan – at least her collarbones are not a deadly weapon anymore…I think she shops in some old woman’s closet in Panama City, FL – have you seen the muumuus on this girl? 10) Renee Zellweger – I get so distracted by the fishy, kissy, pouty face that I rarely look at her clothes… All in all I think Mr. Blackwell got it right this year…in the industry these people are in, your look is your paycheck – what are they thinking?! 11:22 a.m. - 2006-01-11 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
