Money...
Money. Money.Money. Money.Money.Money. Money.Money.Money.Money. Money.Money.Money.Money.Money. Money.Money.Money.Money.Money.Money. I'm hoping if I say it enough, it will appear. I am once again freaking out about money. There are lots of big ticket things hanging out in the near future that have me S-T-R-E-S-S-E-D: taxes, getting car ready to turn back in at lease end (requires both mechanical and body work), down payment on new car and a large credit card bill. One by one: My Taxes -- despite us making huge amounts of donations to Goodwill, plus money throughout the year and deducting all mortgage items, etc - I owe a lot of federal tax. I am getting some back from state, so that will go straight towards that. Her Taxes -- she will get a refund, thank goodness, but right now the size of that refund depends on having all documentation of medical expenses from 2005. I started asking in November that she call and get a record of all her expenses. She didn't call until last week...they said it would take 30 days. UGH...need.money.now. Tonight I am going to go through what receipts we do have and see what we can prove without the printout. *crosses fingers* Car Repair -- I have had a love/hate affair with my p.o.s. car for almost 4 years. There have noises that the VW place "can't hear" and lights that come on, that they "fix" only for them to come on 2 weeks later. Of course all that has to be "fixed" or I get charged with it. Then body-wise, someone backed into my car in the fall while C had it at work, small, but dent. Then Saturday, the plastic lower front bumper guard just fell off my car. It is now in my backseat. Down payment on car -- that speaks for itself. Large Credit Card bill -- I thought my bill was due was due 1/26, apparently it was due 1/24...and apparently they give no grace period. Now I have a LARGE bill due before 2/23. Of course they KEEP calling me, even though I have promised to pay that HUGE amount by the next due date...they said that they will keep calling. What good does that do? Money. Money.Money. Money.Money.Money. Money.Money.Money.Money. Money.Money.Money.Money.Money. Money.Money.Money.Money.Money.Money.
