pstlyfdiva's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- C's birthday re-cap C had a fabulous birthday, she kept saying it was the best birthday ever. We started celebrating Thursday morning (her birthday morning) and the celebration went on through the wee hours of Sunday morning. Thursday AM: She came down to balloons, 1 present (2 shirts) and a turkey & Munster English muffin with a candle in it. Thursday Mid-AM: She MADE me get a physical at the doctor's office where she works, as a birthday present to her. (I hadn't had a non-gyn physical in probably 10 yrs) Thursday Lunch: took her to lunch and gave her a subscription to Netflix Thursday PM: Went to Fresh Market and let her pick out dinner -- Ribs and Baked Potato Salad. Then she opened the rest of her presents from me: another shirt, a camcorder (so she can start pursuing her dreams), camcorder case & tapes. She had no idea she was actually getting it. Then we went to the bar and met up with Ray for drinks. After that, went back home for Spongebob cupcakes. Friday we went to lunch with her dad and stepmom. It was nice. This is the first time her dad has gotten her a birthday present since we have been together. Friday night we had dinner with her mom, her mom's fiance & Ray. Afterwards we had cake at home. Saturday, she played her new video game for 7 hrs, while I prepared for her party. I told her that I didn't want her to help me, it was her party and she didn't need to do anything. We had 5 people over for her party -- it was really nice. She enjoyed herself and was really happy to see everyone. All in all it was a really nice time, I love to see her happy and she was.
