Saturday we planned to go to a Japanese steakhouse with Fab & The Girls (a great couple, A & M), as my party. We did and it was delicious. Afterwards Fab made me go back to his house so he could give me my present and show me some new clothes. C headed home alone, The Girls said they had to go home, as their 9 yr old daughter wasn’t feeling well. I was a bit bummed that they wouldn’t be able to continue the celebration, but knew that the 3 of us would still have a great time. Fab took FOREVER at his house…leisurely smoking a cigarette, asking me what I want to do with my hair when he does it on Wednesday. I just kept thinking about how bummed C was going to be, sitting at home alone. FINALLY we leave, 30 minutes later and head to C & my house. We get there and I can see C has put up streamers, I thought, “How sweet”. We go inside and there are The Girls and another friend – SURPRISE! C threw me a little surprise party! I have never had a surprise party and really had no clue. Funny thing is that earlier in the week they had planned on it being much bigger, but I said something about not wanting random people at dinner, so they uninvited people to the party, they though I wouldn’t want there!!! Oooops! You know, while I feel bad that they uninvited people, I liked the size that it was, I like intimate get-togethers where you can really talk to everyone.
