pstlyfdiva's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Delivery I got an extra special birthday present this morning…a rash. Apparently I was having such an issue with turning 30 that it broke me out in hives. No, seriously, I went back to the doctor this morning because C noticed a rash on my back this morning. Within twenty minutes it had spread to my torso and legs. Now it is also in my armpits and on my chest. They tested me for mono (even though I have had it), because sometimes if you are treated with antibiotics (as I was for strep throat last week) and you have mono you get a rash. It was negative. 3 doctors tried to figure out what it was. Looked in books, etc. They were stumped. Basically no idea what it is, just what it isn’t. So they treating it as hives with Zyrt*c for 10 days – if it gets much worse or other symptoms I am to go back.
