What an insult

I believe some people on this planet see it as their mission to nitpick and put down others. I was just having a lovely conversation with a honcho of my company, the honcho of the location of the company for which I do the most work. Then suddenly he comes out of left field and says that he thinks that She-Boss should come down a week after I install my model so she can “take it up a notch”.
WTF?!
He said, “nothing against you, but she takes it to the next level.” Excuse me?! She also comes in with fresh eyes and a fresh brain when I have been working back to back 12 hour labor intensive move-in days and am exhausted. He also doesn’t try to run her over, like he tries me.

He has no concept of how many of her hideous ideas I have squashed. He himself hates some of the things that he knows were her touch! I know it is his personality and he just couldn’t resist the urge to make a jab, but it still burns.

What an insult.

Jerk.
